Reunion dinner

Time flies, today is reunion dinner. Tomorrow is the start of chinese new year. One year and many things had changed. This year reunion dinner is just only mummy and i eating simple steamboat. We couldn't celebrate new year and this year will be different. Won't be going to relative houses to bai nian. Getting very little ang bao and i can't be bothered with the traditional stuffs. Just only spring cleaning the house which 80% is mummy cleaning because i got a stupid mentality that since we're not celebrating CNY, why must we still got to spring clean the house? HAHA, excuses.

Reminising the 2008 CNY and i recalled last year's reunion dinner was our lunch instead. It was our first time going for reunion lunch and also, didn't eat together with relatives or neighbour. Just ourselves and as usual, in the car arguing over the destination while my late dad was driving. When we were in the restaurant, my dad was sucha joker with his food because he was not used eating western food. When our appetiser just arrived, people will take it's own sweet time drinking the soup yet he just gulped up and finished it. Then we went zzzZZZZzzz..


Although that was the last time eating together, it was an unforgettable memory for all of us. Life goes on no matter what and this year CNY will be the slackest and i am going to like it. Miak in INDIA eating vegetarian food, studying and working while i'm in singapore slacking like nobody business. Happy chinese new year and hope the world's recession will end ASAP.
