Chinese New Year!

Hmmm.. am i looking forward for chinese new year? The answer is a NO. For me, chinese new year is boring and yah, the only interesting part is the ang baos. Both side of my family doesn't gamble as either they're too mature or too young. Resorting to gambling is also no good too. All i do during visiting was to eat, stoned, smile. With my Mp3 and handphone, time definitely gone by faster. With the television, thats will be soo much better! Every year, my family always visit the same place and yah, need to travel alot and every year, my family never fail to argue in the car when we speak up how much we hated chinese new year and my parents always say that it is traditional and we have to follow because we are chinese.

Definitely when i am so much older and i have my own family, i'll make sure that the family will not be in Singapore during Chinese New Year unless my family is equally close to everyone. Whats the point of visiting each other just 1 time in the year? In the future, when the 2 "not close" cousin see each other, maybe we can't even recongise each other or maybe its just saying hello and goodbye. No point! Meeting for less than 4hrs and always start with the same old topics, "what school are you from?" "you've grown taller and prettier!" "whats your name again?" Heh, but surprising, this year my dad's side, no one asked me at all! Yes, i feel so relieve right now.

Thank god tomorrow's visiting are the closer ones. Going to our favourite DA JIU MA's house, eat lunch and play PSP or Playstation or watch movies with my older cousins and yah, plus some corny jokes from them too. Evening going to my ganma's house and yah, eat big feast! I love her cookings! I got a recollections that when i was young, around primary school p2 or p3, my sister and i always look forward to ganma's house because we always play hide and seek her the house and it was super fun! But now, we're old. I repeat, OLD! We tend to eat more and slack in the living room watching blockbuster movies and tomorrow, we are gonna do it the same too!

My weekends gonna be free and yah, when i'm free, the rest are not. Quite irritating when time cannot match at all when my friends and i want to hang out together. I won't mind staying at home but this weekend will be pack with guests, i mean my relatives and i don't like entertaining them at all. Its not that i dislike them or despise them, just that i don't know how to entertain them with the whole house fill with noises and additional of little kids will bring nightmares! The aunties will the playing majongs and the uncles will be watching televisions or using the computer or laptops. Me, grounded with homeworks is impossible to stay at home and "do it". Must well, i rather go out and have fun instead.

Well, see how it goes.. *sigh* whenever i think of chinese new year, i think about the scary O levels. Getting nearer and nearer each day and i am so not prepared for it. I guessed the rest also not prepared too but.. i just couldn't imagine myself taking the o levels result slip. *EEEEEK*
